Wiring provides a pathway to power and control of almost every function in modern commercial airplanes. Knowledge of wire usage in an airplane is a valuable tool for airplane technicians.

In this course you’ll learn to list the uses of wires in airplanes, to list the components of wires.

You’ll understand the differences between material classes of wire. You’ll be able to define the differences among colored flag markers, you’ll understand markings for connectors and you’ll understand how to determine when a splice is to be installed.
